San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York pleaded no contest Monday to two misdemeanor charges following his Aug. 23 arrest in East Palestine, Ohio, according to WKBN and KRON.
York, 46, was arrested at 9:35 a.m. Sunday at the Wheat Hill Mobile Home Community off State Route 170.
East Palestine police said their department assisted the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force, while directing further questions to the task force.
According to KRON, prosecutors amended an original charge of engaging in prostitution to disorderly conduct.
York was also convicted of possessing criminal tools. He posted a $5,000 bond following the arrest.
Court records show York was ordered to serve two days in the Columbiana County Jail concurrently, receiving credit for one day served. He was fined $150 for disorderly conduct and $1,000 for possessing criminal tools.
A court order also directed that a cell phone be returned to York while $160 seized during the case would be forfeited to the task force.
York became president of the 49ers in 2008 and is a Cardinal Mooney High School graduate. The team and York’s attorney had not responded to WKBN’s requests for comment at the time of its report.
