Charleston White Arrested in Florida on Battery Charge

Charleston White, the comedian and online personality, was arrested in Florida on a misdemeanor battery charge as separate allegations against him surfaced on social media.

According to TMZ, White, 49, was taken into custody after an alleged battery incident in South Florida.

The available jail information does not disclose what allegedly happened, and it remains unclear whether the arrest is connected to Pretty’s accusations.

Pretty posted allegations on Instagram on Sept. 12, saying White punched her while she was sleeping and had assaulted her the previous night.

She also accused him of taking money and personal belongings. White has not publicly responded to those allegations.

The case is listed as pending trial. TMZ reported that a judge is expected to review the matter before deciding whether bond will be set.

White is scheduled to appear Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Off the Hook Comedy Club in Naples. It has not been confirmed whether the arrest will change that performance.

The Florida case follows White’s previous encounters with law enforcement. In October 2024, he faced animal cruelty and aggravated assault charges in Texas, allegations he denied.

In February 2025, he was arrested on two aggravated assault charges and later released.

The immediate confirmed development is the judicial review of White’s Florida case. No additional charges related to Pretty’s allegations have been reported in the supplied reports.
