Actor Andrew Shue and attorney Marilee Fiebig are engaged after dating for more than three years, marking a new chapter for the pair who became close following the breakdown of their previous marriages.
Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig are engaged, PEOPLE reported Oct. 21, 2026, after more than three years of dating. Shue, known for his role in Melrose Place, described the couple as grateful and happy about their engagement.
The pair first became friends in 2022, when public attention focused on the relationship between their then-spouses, former television anchors Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes.
Both couples were separated at the time, and Shue and Fiebig later divorced their respective spouses.

Their friendship eventually developed into a romantic relationship. They began dating and became engaged in spring 2026, according to PEOPLE.
Shue said the experience of his marriage ending prompted him to reflect on his own decisions and what he needed from a relationship.
He described the process as involving pain, struggle and humility, adding that it helped him recognize the importance of moving from personal needs toward giving to another person.
He also acknowledged the unusual circumstances that brought him and Fiebig together, saying their situation gave them an opportunity to get to know each other when they both needed a friend.
The engagement comes shortly after reports that Robach, 53, and Holmes, 49, married privately on Sept. 19, 2026, in Arkansas.
Their relationship first became public in November 2022, attracting speculation about the timing of their romance. Both denied cheating allegations and said they had been separated from their respective spouses.
Shue also has three sons from his first marriage to Jennifer Hageney. Fiebig shares a daughter with Holmes.
