Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Ohio Home Gets New Privacy Measures

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Ohio retreat has introduced another layer of privacy around the couple’s recently purchased lakefront property in Bratenahl, near Cleveland.

A resident told Page Six that a person approaching the estate received an automated voice warning instructing them not to continue onto the private property.

The report does not indicate that the warning was part of a broader security expansion across the village.

Kelce bought the historic property for $5.35 million in March, several months before his July 3 wedding to Swift.

USA Today reported that the transaction was completed through an Ohio LLC formed shortly before the sale, with Kelce’s longtime business manager André Eanes listed as the tax correspondence contact.

The estate, known as Moyenage, covers about 21,140 square feet and contains eight bedrooms, eight full bathrooms and three half bathrooms.

Its restored features include carved walnut, leaded glass and marble, while a former ballroom was converted into a game room and home theater. The gatehouse also serves as a two-bedroom guest cottage.

The property has a notable Cleveland history. The Encyclopedia of Cleveland History says its third-floor ballroom operated as a speakeasy during Prohibition, while CBS’s Route 66 filmed an episode there in 1962.

Kelce’s connection to the area predates the purchase. He grew up in Cleveland Heights with his brother Jason and later joined the Cleveland Guardians’ ownership group as a minority investor.

Swift and Kelce have also appeared together in Cleveland, including courtside at a Cavaliers playoff game in May.

According to reporting cited by The Athletic, proposed privacy fencing initially raised concerns among some neighbors because it could affect lake views.

The Spun reported that plans to extend the fencing onto the beach were subsequently dropped after discussions with residents.
