Josh Duhamel celebrated his son Axl’s 13th birthday with a day at Universal Studios Hollywood, giving fans a rare glimpse of the teenager. The actor shared photos from the Aug. 27 outing on Facebook the following day.
Axl, whom Duhamel shares with former wife Fergie, appeared with several friends during the theme-park visit. Duhamel was also photographed with his younger son Shepherd, while Mari appeared alongside her stepson.
Duhamel and Mari married in 2022 and have two children together: Shepherd and daughter Rocca de Leon, who was born in May. The couple announced Rocca’s arrival on Instagram on May 16.
The birthday celebration comes as Duhamel adjusts to life as a father of three. Before Rocca’s birth, he spoke about becoming a “girl dad,” saying he was excited to meet his daughter and noting that the relationship between fathers and daughters can feel different.
Duhamel previously described parenting Axl as a new experience as his son approached his teenage years. He also joked about Axl developing an interest in a girl he met at camp.
Duhamel and Fergie divorced in 2019 after eight years of marriage and have remained supportive co-parents. Fergie congratulated Duhamel and Mari after Rocca’s birth.
