Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley briefly left Sunday’s 24-20 victory over the Tennessee Titans after suffering a shoulder stinger early in the Week 2 matchup.
Barkley was slow to get up following his first offensive carry. ESPN’s Tim McManus reported that he went to the medical tent, while Eagles reporter E.J. Smith observed Barkley holding his chest as he ran indoors with trainers.
The Eagles subsequently listed Barkley as questionable to return with a stinger. He later re-entered the game, easing concerns surrounding the early injury scare.
Barkley finished with four rushing attempts for nine yards and caught one of two targets for 11 yards. His limited production came after missing time with the shoulder issue.
According to fantasy analysis, Barkley has 92 rushing yards without a touchdown through two games and is expected to be monitored ahead of Philadelphia’s Week 3 road matchup against Chicago.
