Mia Goth has filed for divorce from Shia LaBeouf in Los Angeles, seeking sole legal and physical custody of their 4-year-old daughter.
Mia Goth has begun divorce proceedings against Shia LaBeouf after years of an on-and-off relationship. Court documents cited by The Associated Press and PEOPLE list July 28, 2025, as the date of separation.
Goth, 32, is asking the court to grant her sole legal and physical custody of the couple’s daughter, Isabel, 4. She has requested visitation for LaBeouf and asked that neither party receive spousal support.

The actors met while working on “Nymphomaniac: Vol. II” in 2012 and became a couple. They held a wedding ceremony in Las Vegas in 2016 and later separated publicly, including announcing a divorce in 2018, before reconnecting in 2020. They welcomed their daughter in 2022.
Their recent split follows a period of reported tension. PEOPLE previously reported that Goth encouraged LaBeouf to move out and that their relationship had become difficult during the previous year.
LaBeouf has also faced legal issues in recent months. In June, he received two years of probation after pleading guilty to misdemeanor battery charges stemming from an altercation outside a New Orleans bar during Mardi Gras.

The day before Goth filed for divorce, LaBeouf and singer FKA Twigs reached an agreement related to a second lawsuit stemming from their previous relationship.
That case was dismissed after LaBeouf agreed to void nondisclosure provisions that Twigs challenged under California law.
Representatives for Goth and LaBeouf did not immediately respond to requests for comment, according to the AP.
