Robert Kelker-Kelly, the daytime television actor who portrayed Bo Brady on Days of Our Lives, has died at 62.

The Missouri medical examiner confirmed to TMZ that Kelker-Kelly died Saturday, Oct. 3. The circumstances surrounding his death have not been publicly detailed, and his cause of death remains undisclosed.

Kelker-Kelly began his daytime television career in 1987 as Sam Fowler on Another World.

His career later took him to Days of Our Lives, where he assumed the role of Bo Brady in 1992 after Peter Reckell, who originated the character, left the role.

His three-year run as Bo placed him opposite Kristian Alfonso as Hope Williams Brady and Lisa Rinna as Billie Reed.

Kelker-Kelly received the Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in 1994 for his performance. The following year, he and Rinna were recognized as Hottest Couple for their on-screen portrayals of Bo and Billie.

Kelker-Kelly and Rinna both left Days of Our Lives in 1995, after which Reckell returned as Bo. Kelker-Kelly continued working in daytime television after leaving Days of Our Lives.

He joined General Hospital as Stavros Cassadine, appearing on the series from 2001 to 2002 before returning to the role in 2013 and 2014. His career also extended beyond acting. Kelker-Kelly worked as a professional pilot.

Earlier in 2026, Rinna discussed her past relationship with Kelker-Kelly in her memoir, alleging that he had been verbally abusive and manipulative during their time working together.

She also alleged that NBC arranged security for her and Alfonso for several weeks after his departure from Days of Our Lives. Kelker-Kelly did not publicly respond to those allegations.

Kelker-Kelly was married to actress Linda Rattner from 1988 until their divorce in 1992. He later married Days of Our Lives costar Miriam Parrish in 1997; they divorced in 2013.
