Drew Starkey and Cailee Spaeny have fueled romance rumors after being spotted holding hands in Los Angeles, months after playing love interests in Deep Cuts.
Drew Starkey and Cailee Spaeny are drawing renewed attention to their relationship after a Los Angeles sighting appeared to show the actors holding hands.
Photos shared by DeuxMoi and reported by Just Jared have fueled speculation that the two may be romantically involved.
The sighting comes several months after Starkey and Spaeny worked together on Deep Cuts, A24’s adaptation of Holly Brickley’s novel.

Deadline previously reported that the film is set in the 2000s and follows two music-obsessed young adults as they navigate ambition, belonging and adulthood.
Starkey and Spaeny were cast as the film’s leads after the project’s original stars, Saoirse Ronan and Austin Butler, departed because of scheduling conflicts. Sean Durkin is writing and directing the adaptation.
The latest sighting adds to speculation that began while the actors were working together. Earlier reports also described the pair spending time together, although those reports did not establish that they were dating.

Despite the growing speculation, there is an important distinction between the reported sighting and a confirmed relationship. Current coverage has described Starkey and Spaeny as a possible couple, but neither actor has publicly confirmed that they are dating.
The two actors are both coming off prominent projects. Starkey is known for his role as Rafe Cameron in Outer Banks and appeared in films including Queer, while Spaeny has starred in films including Priscilla, Civil War and Alien: Romulus.
Their upcoming Deep Cuts collaboration gives the romance speculation an additional connection, since they portray love interests in the film.
