Hilary Swank is preparing to welcome another child with her husband, Philip Schneider, three years after the couple became parents to twins.
The Million Dollar Baby star shared the announcement on Instagram on October 14. In the video, family members danced in the dark with glow sticks attached to their arms and legs. Swank’s baby bump was outlined in glowing lights.
“A lot of people have been asking what project I’m doing next, this one releases in December,” Swank wrote, playfully presenting her pregnancy as her upcoming project.
The actress has not publicly disclosed the baby’s sex. The new arrival will be her third child.

Swank and Schneider first met in 2015 on a blind date arranged by friends, including actor Misha Collins’ wife, Vicki Vantoch. In an interview with Vogue, Swank recalled that their first meeting lasted from 10 a.m. until 11 p.m.
The couple became engaged about a year and a half later and married in August 2018. Schneider works as a social venture entrepreneur.
In April 2023, they welcomed fraternal twins, Aya and Ohm. Swank previously described motherhood as an extraordinary experience, acknowledging that raising twins brought both greater joy and exhaustion than she had anticipated.
The actress also discussed her decision to have children later in life in an interview with People earlier in 2026. She explained that establishing her career first gave her greater flexibility to devote attention to parenting.
Swank’s Upcoming Television Role
Alongside her growing family, Swank is set to appear in the fourth and final season of Yellowjackets. The season is scheduled to premiere on November 20, according to the supplied reports.
