King Charles is reportedly maintaining a relationship with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and their children while keeping their private family ties separate from official royal duties.
The King’s reported approach reflects a distinction between family contact and the Sussexes’ former institutional role within the monarchy.
According to royal historian Andrew Lownie, cited by the Daily Mail, Charles faces competing pressures over how closely he should maintain the relationship.
That balance became more visible during the Sussex family’s July visit to Highgrove House.
