Avengers: Doomsday Tickets Go on Sale Nationwide

Disney has opened general advance ticket sales for Avengers: Doomsday, expanding availability beyond the premium format screenings that had previously been offered.

The move gives audiences a chance to secure seats well ahead of the film’s scheduled December 18 theatrical release.

The advance sale also provides an indication of the movie’s current length. Avengers: Doomsday is listed at approximately 165 minutes, or two hours and 45 minutes.

The runtime was previously reported during the initial premium-format ticket rollout, although a film’s final cut can still change during post-production.

The movie is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and brings together major Marvel characters including Thor, Captain America, Ant-Man, the Fantastic Four and members of the X-Men.

Robert Downey Jr. is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a new role as Victor Von Doom, rather than Tony Stark. The broader ticket rollout comes alongside a new poster centered on Doctor Doom.

The poster’s release is part of Marvel’s promotional push surrounding D23 and the film’s growing theatrical campaign.

Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday countdown has also received attention following changes connected to footage previously shown at San Diego Comic-Con. The film remains one of Marvel Studios’ major upcoming theatrical releases.

The unusually early ticket rollout is significant because Doomsday is scheduled to open on December 18, the same date as Dune: Part Three.

Premium-format availability has therefore been an important part of the movie’s theatrical strategy, with Disney promoting its Infinity Vision-certified screens.

Disney is also bringing Avengers: Endgame back to theaters as Avengers: Endgame Encore on September 25, giving audiences another opportunity to revisit the previous Avengers finale before Doomsday arrives.

Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to open in theaters on December 18, 2026. With general ticket sales now underway, fans can begin choosing opening period showtimes and formats months before release.
