The announcement followed a high level meeting in Hanoi between Deputy Minister Pham Duc Long and Gonzalo de Dios, Head of Global Licensing and Project Kuiper at Amazon.

Vietnam is one of Southeast Asia’s most dynamic economies, with a population of nearly 100 million and a rapidly expanding digital ecosystem. Internet penetration has soared above 75%, but there remain significant rural and mountainous regions where broadband access is either limited or non existent.
